Mexico Cartel Terror Attacks, US Military Intelligence Operations
Investigative journalist Dan Dix reports from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, amid a surge of cartel-related violence following the killing of a major cartel leader. Hundreds are reported dead across Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Cancun as gunmen hold hostages and burn vehicles. The United States military reportedly provided intelligence for the operation that triggered these reprisals, which sources suggest may soon spill over into the United States.

01:02 All right, we've got Dan Dix investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker who was down there working in Puerto Vallarta. One of the main epicenters of the cartel terror attacks are still continuing across Mexico hundreds dead I have a lot of sources on the border i have sources in the DEA Sources in the federal marshals you name it And that I have a lot of military sources that I've been on the phone with last night this morning and they say what's happening in Mexico is absolutely far worse than your seeing in the news And a big part of that is because the Mexican government wants to keep it quiet, to keep tourism coming in. Cancun had burning cars and people getting shot and murdered and police being shot and military being killed and gunmen coming in and holding hostages at restaurants and just robberies everywhere. Guadalajara Mexico City basically all over the border. And there's been increases in people taking pot shots at the Border Patrol on our border with Mexico so
02:04 Mexico just went from red hot to white hot. And you can bet your boots is my assessment that you're going to see reprisals inside the United States from this particular cartel, who is one of the newest and most vicious and made up of a merger of few groups that have been fighting with each other. The killing of their leader is obviously what triggered this but this is a big deal. And the US military did aid in the operation with the intelligence and directing some of it. So I would imagine we're gonna see more reprisals now, but I'm getting some of those experts that were working on right now Matt Bracken, Doc Chambers and others but we also again have Dan Dix joining us with an update he can't get out the airport got shot up people killed its closed they've canceled the flights out It's a big deal so we're going to be looking at that
