Yu Xiang Yang, a Chinese multimillionaire and CEO of China Fusion Capital, joined the board of Telit in the summer of 2020. Telit is the manufacturer of the cellular modems found in U.S. election systems. British publications have raised alarms about Yang's ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), suggesting that his influence over the company provides a direct pathway for foreign interference in American elections.
