The Department of Homeland Security has reportedly funded the development of "LED incapacitators," also known as "puke rays." These devices use high-frequency light pulses to cause nausea, intracranial pressure, and retinal damage in humans. Jabi notes that many new LED streetlights are being equipped with these capabilities, as well as charging stations for autonomous police drones.
