During the Chauvin trial, dispatcher Jenna Scurry testified she was watching the incident via city cameras but did not communicate with officers for five minutes. Despite the officers requesting a "Code 3" emergent medical response, Scurry did not add fire rescue to the call. Veteran police officers and other dispatchers reportedly confirmed that fire rescue is standard for head injuries and emergent medical requests.
