Most of the time they're training and doing stuff and teach people CPR and sitting around playing cards. And that's fine, because when they work, they work. That's the culture.

He said you won't release it, which is a fact. So they're standard, there's the LA Times right there, gets into it. But there's letters from the firefighting union about this months ago. I covered it a few days ago. They're like, we're not doing the drills, we're not doing the preparing. We're not cutting fire breaks, we're not doing brush mitigation, we're not doing tests and you're cutting funding.

And I think 700 gallons of diesel fuel leaked all over the mountain right around where the fires broke out. And we know that that fuel was not properly cleaned up. It was reported about until July, and then it kind of went away. And the people were saying that it was gonna be months and months before it was all cleaned up. And all of a sudden these fires break out.
