Tucker Carlson Fired from Fox News, Media Landscape Shifts
Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson mutually agreed to part ways on April 24, 2023, following a controversial segment featuring January 6th Capitol security footage. The footage depicted Jacob Chansley being escorted by Capitol Police, contradicting mainstream narratives of a violent insurrection. Senate leaders Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell subsequently called for the show's cancellation, leading to allegations of a "uniparty" effort to silence populist voices.

00 So I just want our enemies to know that you play one-dimensional checkers. You don't play chess, you don't play two-dimensional, three-dimensional, four-dimensional. A non-two-dimensional thinker would see this immediately. Any student of the Hegelian dialectic would understand it. But the left is so degenerate, so wacko, they've only inherited the world their grandparents stole. with fractional reserve banking in their system. So they've inherited unlimited money and all this power and all this control. And their main focus is stamping out manhood, stamping out the family, destroying the middle class, and dominating America, the source of their power, while they destroy the American spirit that they'd harnessed that was the source of their power. So it's quite the moment, ladies and gentlemen. And Tucker, in this clip, it's posted up at InfoWars.com. I hope you share it.
55 in just two minutes and 17 seconds lays beautifully out what we're facing. A uniparty that's hijacked the country, that's surveilling and censoring and persecuting and attacking the people to drive us into submission. They did years of lockdowns and attempted forced injections and everything they're doing is a plan to destroy us. And now all the major populist and conservative political cartoons are saying that. And all the free thinkers are seeing and saying Alex Jones was right. They're out to get us. They're the new world order. So it's been said different ways in many ways, but it comes down to this. You think we're in here with you? You're in here with us.
52 Rallying patriots worldwide in defense of human liberty. It's Alex Jones. InfoWars, tomorrow's news today. Fox News host Tucker Carlson ran a lengthy segment last night arguing the January 6th Capitol attack
33 was not a violent insurrection. The tapes show that Capitol Police never stopped Jacob Chansley. They helped him. They acted as his tour guides. Here's video of Chansley in the Senate chamber. Capitol Police officers take him to multiple entrances and even try to open locked doors for him. We counted at least nine officers who were within touching distance of unarmed Jacob Chansley. Not one of them even tried to slow him down. I don't think I've ever seen a primetime cable news anchor manipulate his viewers the way Mr. Carlson did last night. Was it a violent instruction? It was not. Was it a killing of five officers in the Capitol? It was not. Those are lies and they buried tape that contradicted and revealed those lies. Rupert Murdoch, who has admitted they were lies and said he regretted it, has a special obligation.
28 to stop Tucker Carlson from going on tonight now that he's seen how he has perverted and slimed the truth. What they're describing, ironically, is exactly what the January 6th committee and the prosecutors in these cases did for two years. They selectively picked small segments of tape to convince Americans that January 6th was something that it wasn't. In fact, the leader of the Senate Democrats, Chuck Schumer, just joined the leader of the Senate Republicans, Mitch McConnell, in calling for this show to be pulled off the air. Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, tell Carlson not to run a second segment. They're on the same side. The Senate majority leader joins the Senate minority leader. Tom Tillis, Mitt Romney. They're all on the same side. So it's actually not about left and right. It's not about Republican and Democrat. Here you have people with shared interests. The open borders people. The people like Mitch McConnell, who are living in splendor on Chinese money.
28 The people who underneath it all have everything in common are all aligned against everyone else. And that would include almost all news organizations in this country as well. The left admits it. Tucker says it. I helped wake him up in radicalizing. He gets what's going on. He's not going back. He believes in the people. And so I predict he won't be at Fox News in the near future if he's unable to put this out. Which media voices and media platforms are most influential in shaping the thinking of middle America? You know, once a week I worry that something terrible will happen to Tucker Carlson because I think that if it did, we would be in a much, much worse position as a movement. For too long, I participated in the culture where I was like, anyone who thinks outside these pre-prescribed lanes is crazy, is a conspiracy theorist.
18 And when you look at what Tucker Carlson and some of these other folks on Fox do, it is very, very clearly incitement of violence. Yes, incitement of violence is a federal felony. And how do we regulate for people who are committing felonies? We arrest them and put them in jail. Arrest Tucker Carlson. Yesterday we heard from a whistleblower within the U.S. government. who reached out to warn us at the NSA, the National Security Agency, is monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off the air. You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you. Is any news organization you know of so corrupt that it's willing to hurt you on behalf of its biggest advertisers?
04 The other channels took hundreds of millions of dollars from big pharma companies, and then they shilled for their sketchy products on the air. And as they did that, they maligned anyone who was skeptical of those products. We'll be back. By the way, the entire episode of Let Them Eat Bugs, not quite as good as pizza, streaming now on Fox station. Use the promo code Originals for 30 days free. And we'll be back on Monday. In the meantime, have the best weekend with the ones that you love, and we'll see you then. Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have mutually agreed to part ways. Tucker's last show was this past Friday. What? Get out of here. Tucker Carlson's going to leave Fox News? Yep. Tucker was the mainstay of the populist voiceover at Fox. And it's just, this is blockbuster news. Which means he was fired. I mean, that's really what party weighs me. The day was already good enough with the Knicks being up 3-1 and now this. It's Thursday, April 27th, 2023. I'm your host, Alex Jones.
